TLDR; Heidi Marjamäki grew up in the small seaside town of Vaasa, Finland and studied literature at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. She worked in Oxford and London before moving to Berlin where most recently she worked in product development at technology startups.

Well, well, well. If it isn’t you, dear reader, wanting more. Here goes: besides reading and writing horror, gothic and ghost stories, I like long walks, the sea, French white wine, my husband, my books, dogs, travelling by any means but particularly by train, travelling far, when things randomly end up symmetrical and ordered with no extra effort expended, alliteration, nineteenth century Romantic art, a well-constructed list, rollercoasters, a comfortable black dress with pockets, universities (as buildings and symbols), splashes of extravagance, and any kind of puzzle or word game. I’m an affiliate member of the Horror Writers’ Association and serve as a fiction reader for Okay Donkey Magazine and Dark Recesses Press.
